Petra Sella Hotel ★★★

Sella hotel is perfect for a visit to Petra. shady and the whole team were so helpful gave us great advice of what times to go to different Petra sites. The hotel itself is so unique. The view from the room was amazing , we got to watch the sunset right from the room. Very clean and tidy rooms. The breakfast had a bit of everything , i am looking forward to returning here!

The staff were very helpful and made our stay especially amazing as we were on our honeymoon. Fantastic views of the ancient city from the balcony and well placed to go in and out of the city itself. Plenty of parking. A special thank you to Shedi!

Check-in was swift and efficient, and they even provided me with a refreshing welcome drink, which was a delightful touch after a long journey. The hotel's location is simply unbeatable. It's nestled amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Petra, and many of the world-renowned historical sites are within walking distance. Waking up to the mesmerizing views of Petra's red rocks from my room was a surreal experience. Speaking of rooms, mine was an oasis of comfort and elegance. Impeccably clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, it provided a perfect retreat after a day of exploration. The plush bed ensured a restful night's sleep, and the modern amenities left nothing to be desired. What truly sets Hotel Petra Sella apart, though, is its dining experience. The restaurant served delectable local and international cuisine, and the attentive staff was always ready with excellent recommendations. The view from the room was amazing!

Great location Excellent service

We stayed in the annex across the street from the main hotel. We’d booked a family room but we’re given two separate junior suites instead, which was great for us because our kids are 11 and 14 and we all appreciated the privacy, but if they’d been younger then this arrangement wouldn’t have worked. The rooms were beautiful - spacious, new, stylishly furnished, comfortable and immaculately clean. After long and dusty days out at Petra and Wadi Rum, it was such a pleasure to return to effective air conditioning and great water pressure in the shower. We had friends staying at a nearby hotel whose accommodations were of a much poorer quality and we hosted them for sunset drinks on more than one occasion, making use of the suite’s multiple seating options and the balcony overlooking Wadi Musa and the back side of Petra. The sunset views were lovely.

The breakfast was fairly lacklustre compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at in Jordan, but we didn’t go hungry and this didn’t detract from our enjoyment of our stay.
